Lots of Fun Stuff Here

Boss is annoyed at me.  I have been having too much fun.  And I lost track of time.  And so I did not pick the hoppy froggy bloggy thing winner person yesterday like I was supposed to.  But I will today!  After I show you all about the fun and wonderful things that have been going on here. 

The first thing is that there is a challenge over at The ScrapRoom about making a pretty-paper-picture-story page of love.  (If you are a ScrapRoom member, you can see it here!)  This is not that exciting for me because love and mushy stuff is for, well, Boss.  She is the pink wearing ribbon loving chocolate eating lovey mushy person around here.  But since there is this challenge, Boss has a reason to take extra pictures and play with them and hang out with me.  This is really super duper awesomeness.  Because you know what happens when we hang out?  Boss sings Mumford & Sons to me with a happy smiley face and feeds me Cool Ranch Doritos.  Yes, lovey mushy stuff is actually pretty good after all. 

These are the pictures that Boss will turn into a pretty-paper-picture-story page about love.  They are from when Boss gave Big One and Player and Talker cards with brilliant poems in them and also big chocolates.  And I am willing to overlook the silliness of the pixlr-o-matic mess she has made of the pictures because I am too busy snarfing down Cool Ranch Doritos.  This is called "keeping my opinion to myself."

And then soon after that, we had the birthday of Player and the Cousin-of-Player.  This is the boy Cousin-of-Player.  Not the girl Cousin-of-Player.  The girl Cousin-of-Player is actually Cousin-of-Talker.  That is how I can tell them apart.  Well, plus Cousin-of-Player smells delicious and I am sure would be easy to convince to give me a ham or a roast or something.  Cousin-of-Talker just bosses me around a lot and makes me walk here and there and here and there and follow the rules.  I think Cousin-of-Talker must be the "related" word to Boss.  They are very much the same in some things.  Including the color pink and ribbons and lovey mushy stuff.  But here is the birthday of Player and Cousin-of-Player.  Boss thought it was hilarious when some of the flags caught on fire.  She might have been drinking a little at that point.

Boss says when you do not have fantastic cake decorating skills, you can fool everybody by making lots of little flags out of birthday paper and tossing on a bunch of sprinkles and using every candle you have.  And if you catch the cake on fire, then it is super more extra fun!  And the glow of the cake is even better for taking pictures of.

And finally, the best for last!  Well, the best for almost last.  Do not worry, I have not forgotten that there will be a winner in this blog post.  BUT LOOK!!!!  My friend Willow spent the weekend with me!  She is super duper extra lots really really REALLY wonderful.  I love her.  And she loves treats!  Just like me!  Boss gave us lots of treats for looking adorable in this picture.

And finally, the winner of the hoppy froggy bloggy thing.  Everyone was so very much niceness!  I was worried how I was going to pick a winner for the only-slightly-licked Evalicious stamps, but I decided that my tail would tell me.  Because the tail of a dog is a marvelous thing.  It will tell you when you are happy and smiling even if you do not know it.  And here is the winning post that made my tail wag a lot - A LOT! - and made Boss laugh out loud:

Hopping is for Frogs

So Boss says we are part of a blog hop today and that we have a special love card thing for the "Valentine" word.  And Boss says I must show it to you right now.  RIGHT NOW.  She is saying this quite emphatically.  So here it is:

These are Evalicious tasty things from the Love You Lots bundle.  I think Boss will be giving me this card to taste.  She loves me lots as I am sure you can imagine.

Now that I have done that, I will tell you that I wish Boss would just let me write my own blog posts without all of these ideas she has.  Because I have no idea what this is all about and now I will have to make this blog post make sense which is really not that easy even if you live here and listen to what is going on.

I mean, really.  Does this make sense to you at all?  AT ALL?  No?  I did not think so.

And I do not see any frogs.

Boss is now mentioning the "pepperoni" word.  I am suddenly very much paying attention to that word.  And the other words she is saying.  And now I am suddenly very much understanding what is going on here - which is good for you because Boss says you might win a prize!  In fact, you might win two prizes!  Which is more than you have right now, to be honest.  But that is a little bit mean, so I will move on.

Evalicious

And if you are wanting an extra prize, you should be leaving a comment for me here.  I will be picking my favorite one next Saturday on the 16th and sending that person a couple of really tasty Evalicious stamps (although I think frogs taste better).  I only licked them a little and I am sure they are just fine.  Really.  I promise. 

Oh, and Boss says that Evalicious is taking a shipping break between February the 10th and March the 2nd, so if you are really really really wanting some yumminess for yourself, you need to get it now.  RIGHT NOW. 

Boss Wants to Marry Project Life Too

Boss says the more she does it the more she loves it.  And the more she loves it, the more pictures she takes.  And the more pictures she takes, the more she does it.  And now I want to talk about giving a mouse a cookie for some strange reason...

So taking pictures and putting them in pockets and making teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages out of them is making Boss very happy.  And the more Boss is happy, the more we are happy.  And the more we are happy, the more pictures Boss takes of us.  Um.  I am thinking about cookies again.

The thing that is making Boss extra happy is that she is taking pictures from before I was around (which would normally be boring) and making them into teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages that are actually making the not-so-nice photos (says Boss! not me!) look good AND take less time and pages to do them.  So Boss has more time to play.  And when Boss has more time to play... I think I will just go find a cookie.

January 2010:  Boss likes how she can take all sorts of photos from the same weekend and put them on one page and make a travel diary thing.  I think this might be lazy as Boss is a big fan of things that let her be lazy.

January 2010:  Hey, it is Mr. Larry!  Mr. Larry loves me.  A lot.  A LOT!  Even after the ham incident he gave me a cookie.  I love him.  He knows where the cookies are.

February 2010:  Awwww, it is Player and he is cute.  CUTE.  I think he was thinking about me even then.  He says he was.  And Boss says that she has the documentation to prove it.  I think that is good.  I may have to Google that phrase later.

February 2010:  I have heard stories of this cat.  He looks tasty.  I heard he was plump and fat and so I am thinking he was probably filled with cookies.  Boss is now giving me the squinty eyeball look.  I am not supposed to taste the cats.  Even if they want to be tasted.  Oh.  Boss is squinting at me harder.  Moving along!

January 2013:  Boss says another thing she likes about taking pictures and putting them into pockets is that she can put in pictures of things that would not normally get to go on a big pretty-paper-picture-story page like ice and soup.  I agree that the ice is stupid.  Soup?  I think it would make a lovely pretty-paper-picture-story page, but Boss is not agreeable on this.

January 2013:  Boss also really really really likes how bad pictures are good to use when making teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages.  These are not bad pictures.  Well.  The one with Player is not a bad picture.  The other ones are perhaps on the questionable side.

January 2013:  THE BESTEST PHOTO EVER!  THAT IS ME!  I am finally in the teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages!  But my head is in a shadow.  I must be speaking to Boss about using the "Photoshop" word to fix this.

January 2013:  More food.  Woman, you are killing me!  I am very hungry now.  And I am pouting.  See how adorable I am when I am pouting?  It makes you want to give me a cookie, yes?

January 2013:  And that is the end of the teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages.  For now.  Boss is making birthday teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages, Christmas teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages, and February teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages in our hang-out room.  I am very much happiness about being with Boss when she makes these teeny pretty-paper-picture-story pages because she is happy.  And I might get a cookie when Boss is happy...

Boss Wants to Marry Reveal Day

Because she says she is in love with it.  A lot.  A LOT!  So then Big One tells her to marry it, and then Boss says rude things, and then they both laugh.  My people are cute when they are like that.  Cute, but confusing.

So you know how reveal day works, right?  Boss works on pretty-paper-picture-story pages and cards for The ScrapRoom and pretends they are a big secret.  Then she not-very-secretly shows everyone the pretty-paper-picture-story pages that she made and calls them a "sneak".  She is not being sneaky.  She is showing the pretty-paper-picture-story pages on the internets.  The internets are huge.  HUGE!  And then finally all the pretty-paper-picture-story pages and cards she made are in the Gallery at The ScrapRoom. 

And then I show them to you here, so you can look at them very close and see the details of the pretty-paper-picture-story pages as much as you want.  Plus, you get to read my very intelligent analysis of the pretty-paper-picture-story pages and cards too.  I am adding quite a bit of good information, actually.  I am helpfulness like that.

Bella Blvd Kiss Me:  Boss is secretly not a fan of Bella Blvd paper and does not want anyone to know how much time this layout took to make.  She may have struggled a little because Bella Blvd paper is clean and has nice colors.  I know, right?  This is Boss and her confusingness.  She apparently does not like clean and nice things.  Which maybe explains why she loves Talker and Player.

Boss does love the layers, sewing, and bling.  I think bling is like white chocolate.  Or beer.  Or maybe even ham.  They are all delicious things I am not allowed to have.  Ever.

More layers, sewing, and bling.  Boss is being repetitive with her redundant and duplicate pictures.

Bella Blvd Kiss Me:  Boss says that when you have paper that is not being the "cooperating" word, sometimes it is helpful to cut it into smaller pieces and use just your favorite bits.  And she says something about mixing it with beer?  That makes no sense.  Do the best you can with this advice. 

Boss likes to fuss and cut.  And she did like the little pink heart.  A lot.  A LOT.

For this pretty-paper-picture-story page, Boss used the very loud scary cutter thing that hooks up to her computer and makes very loud scary cutting noises when I am trying to taste paper bits on the floor.  I may have jumped and ran a little when this white paper was being cut.  But I will not say for sure.

This card will be given to Player.  It is a secret.  Do not tell him.

Echo Park Paper Love Story & the February ScrapRoom Sketch:  Boss said the "awwwww" word a lot when she was making this pretty-paper-picture-story page.  I got irritatedness with her because she was not talking to me.  It is unfair.  Even if this pretty-paper-picture-story page is pretty.  Well.  Pretty if you are a girl who likes pink and love and stuff.  That is not me.  I am not a fan.

Echo Park Paper Love Story:  So Boss is totally loving this pretty-paper-picture-story page.  I think she was very much surprised about how good the grey cardstock looks as a background but I am not surprised so much.  I mean, really?  How can anything that is the name "grey" be not the most awesomenest thing on the planet?  Or maybe even in the whole galaxy!

Boss makes paper look like washi tape.  It is not enough that Boss has a terrible amount of washi tape.  No, she must make fake washi tape.

More paper that looks like washi tape.  Boss is being repetitive with her redundant and duplicate pictures.

This card will be given to Talker.  It is a secret.  Do not tell him.

Boss is a Fan of Organizing

Boss is very very very excited right now.  She is making happy squealing noises and it is not just because she found where she hid the very good white chocolate she got for Christmas.  Boss is super happy because Big One has made sawdust everywhere in her room!  Yes, for real.  And Big One told her to have fun cleaning it up and then he walked away and Boss let him live!!!  I know!!!  This is epic crazy insanely odd!

But Boss will get all forgiving like this when the "organizing" words are used.  And if Big One helps her, Boss gets even more happy and forgiving and is inclined to make popcorn for no reason because it means that the power tools are being used and big things are happening.  Even if I get a little scared of the noise of the power tools.  Well.  I am maybe pretending to be scared because I am not a teacup chihuahua and weak and helpless and shivering under the nearest bed because of a little power tool noise.  I am only pretending to be scared to take advantage of the popcorn.

So Boss and Big One have been putting shelves and organizers in the scraproom of Boss.  And Boss is super duper extra excited that the washi tape holder and this new organizer of the ink things are now ON THE WALL.  I am not that excited about it, but that is how Boss is talking about it.  She gets louder and happier when she says ON THE WALL and then I come out from under the bed because I think she is talking to me but she is not.  She is only very excited about the holder things that she got from Stamp-n-Storage.  She is now going on and on and on about actually being super happy that the Stamp-n-Storage place is near here and she can go there and see all the cool power tools working and making more stuff that she needs and that they can hang ON THE WALL.

Boss is pretty much a girly girl but she does like the power tools.  She can have them.

The new shelves and the washi tape holder and this new organizer of the ink things and all of the other things that Boss is really really really excited about having out.  Boss has been listing all of these things to anyone who will listen so I have it memorized already.  So... here are all the things Boss is happy about having out:  soldering iron, mists, date stamps, glitter, chalk inks, Distress inks, regular inks, Versamark ink (enough with the ink already), craft mat, embossing powder, heat gun, light, stamp cleaner, and lightbox.  And maybe white chocolate, but that is not in this picture.

The tasty washi tape!  Actually, I do not care for it, but this new cat enjoys pulling the tape and eating it.  Boss is not thrilled about this.

The ink things that make Boss giggle.  I do not understand this.

Boss uses some washi tape.  It is not an accident that she is using the math tape.  Math is coolness.

Boss shows how easy it is to take ink things out of the holder of ink things.  Almost like it was designed for ink things.  (This is the "sarcasm" word.  I am working on this new word.  It is fun!)  This holder is meant to only hold Distress ink but Boss was never very good at following instructions.  And she says the Stamp-n-Storage people will never know.

Boss is Everywhere

So I have been doing a little surfing.  Not the cool California kind of surfing with shaggy hair and driving background music and periodic slow motion photography.  No, the kind where if I am not very careful, I end up at websites that feature french poodles.  I do not know how this happens.  I really do not.  I think my browser must have a virus.  And not the zombie virus that the bat crazy cat has been focused on lately.  Just a word of advice:  do not come over here if you have dry skin.  Because the bat crazy cat is certain you have the zombie virus and you have started to decompose and your skin is falling right off.  And I know this is bat crazy, and you know this is bat crazy, and even this new cat knows this is bat crazy, but there is no reasoning with the bat crazy cat.  And winter lasts forever around here and the dry skin lasts just that long too, so we have many months of the zombie virus being the next horrible thing to befall this family.  It is ridiculous.

Anyway, I have been surfing.  And I have been very impressed with Boss, because I have found Boss out on the internets.  I am impressed and surprised because she is really not that clever with the whole blog and internets thing.  She tends to fake it and mostly gets lucky.  But that is just between you and me and we will not be discussing how she accidentally deleted the blog post of somebody else.  Somebody not her.  And somebody not her people.  So it was really quite dramatic that day and Boss was a little teary about it. 

The first place I found Boss was over at The ScrapRoom.  Boss does a challenge over there where she wants you dig around for scraps and turn them into pretty-paper-picture-story pages.  This time it involves the "flower" word which is not so much my favorite thing so I will make a link and show you the pretty-paper-picture-story page Boss made and move on.

Boss is cute as a little girl.  And Boss says to not do the math on the date.  It must be some kind of typo.

Next, Boss was being the "inspiration" and "tutorial" words at Evalicious.  Boss cheated, I think, because she showed the same project two times.  This is called the "milking it" words.  But Boss thinks this is clever.  And tells me that the posts are two different things altogether and then she suggested that both of the readers of this blog could go and decide for themselves.  (Boss is now being insulting so I am AGAIN just going to make a link and another link and show you the paper thing that Boss made and move on AGAIN.)

This is a perpetual reminder calendar.  I think this means "tasty paper covered with tasty things" and I will test my theory later when Boss is not looking.

Finally, I found Boss over at Cocoa Daisy.  She won a prize for her pretty-paper-picture-story page about feeding us rocks!  I think the standards over at the Cocoa Daisy place must be pretty low for such a mean pretty-paper-picture-story page to win a nice prize like Boss won.  I am considering doing the "protest" word but I am not sure it will do much good as Boss tells me it is too late, and that I did not understand the pretty-paper-picture-story page that she made and that it is actually very quite nice from several angles.  So I think I will once again just cut to the link and the pretty-paper-picture-story page and go to bed and dream of french poodles. 

See?  It is about rocks.  And that is not wonderful.  Good night.

I Have Been Doing Some Math

Do not be startled.  Math is really not that complicated even for a simple dog like myself.  Dogs use math all the time.  ALL THE TIME.  We are very into numbers and logic.  For example:

20 pound ham + 8 people = plenty of leftovers to find and steal

n(1 + washi tape) = the amount of washi tape that would be perfect according to Boss, when Boss has "n" amount of washi tape already

1 washi tape = too many in my opinion

Boss + Project Life = ridiculous amount of tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages

And I think Boss is aware of this because she sat and stared at the next tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages and made a very subtle frowny face.  This is not good.  Boss is making frowny faces at tiny tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages which does not lead to happiness for anybody.  Because the next thing you know, Boss will be going through some kind of "personal crisis" words and will become the "drama queen" words and the "overwrought" word although those last ones are the words that Big One uses and then tells Player and Talker to "not repeat that or I'm going to get into a lot of trouble" and then all of them quietly get up and leave the house and go hide in the shop.

Because this is the math I have been doing:  Boss has made 3 and a half tiny tiny tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages and it is halfway through January.  This is 7 per month.  And um... that is... a lot - A LOT - in a whole year!  Like, more than the amount of trouble I got into for stealing that ham.

But now Boss is saying the "I don't really care" words and the "I'm having fun" words and the "let's make popcorn!" words.  OH BOY!  I love popcorn.  And Boss is terrible messy with popcorn.  Which is delightful.  And I do not need any math to figure that out!

Boss has gone backwards in time just like she said she would.  Now I understand.  This is before I was around so it is not very important even if it is about love.

Oh, look at Player!  He is so small and cute!  But he was secretly wishing for a dog even then.  I know this.  He told me.

And now this is what happened last week.  Boss has a glamorous life and these pictures prove it.  Although she is making yet another yarn thing and ALSO used washi tape on these tiny tiny tiny tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages.  So I am not so much a fan. 

You know what is missing from these tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny pretty-paper-picture story pages?  Me.  It is a horrible oversight.  I must be discussing this with Boss.
